2.2 Leave Balance Adjustment

Leave balance adjustment is used to adjust leave balance whereby it just add or minus days from the earn balance. (For example, the staff earn 8 days of Annual Leave (AL) and he/she has utilized 2 days of AL. System administrator may not migration leave history into the system, therefore adjustment need to be done in order to have the correct balance.In this case, -2 of annual leave need input to the system to minus 2 days of AL.)

How to migrate leave balance adjustment?

  1. Download the Leave Entry Upload File template file as per attached or download at Leave -> Main -> Utility -> Leave Data Migration.
  2. Click on Download Sample Leave Entry Excel Format button.
  3. Open with Excel (default) format for Microsoft Excel 2003 & above.
  4. Click on Leave Adjustment sheet.
  5. Fill leave adjustment data at Leave Adjustment sheet. Further explanation for each column as below:

Compulsory. If there is a need to deduct days from the balance, Days Adjusted had to input as negative value.

For example, the staff have earn 8 days of Annual Leave and 2 days had been taken. Days adjusted had to input as -2 in order for the system to get updated balance which is 6 days of Annual Leave balance.

      6. Save the migration file as per default Microsoft Excel (*.xls/.xlsx) format.
      7. Click on Browse button to search for your saved Leave Entry Upload File.
      8. Click on Upload button to import the leave balance adjustment into system.
 

 












Notes:

  1. The adjustment figure will be show at the Adjustment Column at Leave Summary.
