This is where the administrator is able to enter employee's leave, check the history and leave balance.
Employee Leave Group Information Display
Detail information listing of the applicant for Leave Entry.
Leave Type Selection
This field is mandatory to pick the right necessity leave type. The 'Emergency/Short Notice' box is meant for Admin user. If the date of application is less than the required notification period, then the Admin user will tick the box and this application will be considered as Emergency Leave.
History
The History tab will appear in the Leave Application Status Box after the applicant/System Administrator apply, approve or cancel the leave.
Leave Effective Date
The particular employee is allow to pick the date when the leave going to take effectively for the application if necessary.
Email Notify & emergency /Short Notice
Tick 'email Notify' if you want to notify the employee or tick 'emergency/short notice' if the leave type is an emergency
Application for Leave
This allow the particular employee to make selection from the date From and To for the leave application. The Employee can select to apply either Full Day or Half Day Leave. If you opt for half day leave, you can also choose to go on Leave either for morning (AM) or afternoon (PM) session.
It will compute the total number of day(s) applied of the application after you click the Set Date button. You're allow to Remove the Set Date of the application before you confirm/submit for the application.
Leave Application Remarks, Email Copy and Attachment
The applicant is allow to state remarks for the leave application and at the same time the applicant can copy an email to his/her superior/someone important that the particular employee may reporting to.
Attachment Upload
To upload an attachment when necessary. The applicant may have an option to select multiple attachment for upload if require. Once you complete all the application, the applicant will click the Apply button to submit his/her leave. Only the System Administrator able to see the Approve button. The common Save As Draft button is applicable for both applicant (in Employee Self Service module) and System Administrator where they can save their leave application for temporary.
Leave Summary Display
The applicant or System Administrator can view the applicant or individual Leave Summary by selecting the month and year.
Leave Summary
This table shows the summary of Leaves for this Employee.
It list down the type of Leave such as Annual Leave, Marriage Leave, etc and other information such as Leave Entitlement, Earn, etc. Detail explanation as below:
For example, the table above shows the Employee is entitlement of 2 days of Leave for outstation, during the date of application, he has earn 2 days, hence still have 2 days of Leave in the Balance.
Combined Leave Balance Summary
This table shows the Combined Leave Balance. Similar to the above, but only limited for Combine Leave, the table shows the name of the Leave, description, maximum number of Leave Taken, Current Taken and the Current Balance.
Step 15: Click Approve once all the info has been added.
