2.1 Leave Transaction History Entry

Leave transaction history entry is used to migrate leave transaction history for the year. After upload the leave transaction history, it need to process entitlement to reflect the correct balance for all employees. Click here to view on how to process entitlement.  

How to migrate the leave transaction history?

  1. Download the Leave Entry Upload File template file as per attached or download at Leave -> Main -> Utility -> Leave Data Migration.
  2. Click on Download Sample Leave Entry Excel Format button.
  3. Open with Excel (default) format for Microsoft Excel 2003 & above.
  4. Click on Leave Entry sheet.
  5. Fill leave transaction history at Leave Entry sheet. Further explanation for each column as below:

       6. Save the migration file as per default Microsoft Excel (*.xls/.xlsx) format.
       7. Click on Browse button to search for your saved Leave Entry Upload File.
       8. Click on Upload button to import the leave transactions history into system.















Notes:

  1. If the employee number as 0004, please format Emp No column to Text format.


 2.  If the deduct leave balance method is based on current balance, effective date column is important to let the system know which year's balance should be deducted.
For example, the user apply leave on 2 January 2012 and he/she submit the applications on December 2011. The leave shall deduct from 2011's balance instead of 2012.
In this case, the Effective Date column is use to let the system to know the submission date and the system able to deduct from the balance of the year.
(Only applicable to deduction based on current balance.)
 
3. The "No of Days Taken" will show at Taken Column at Leave Summary.
