Data Migration

Data migration is the process of transferring data from an old system to iWoWHR, which is one of the most challenging tasks. Therefore, iWoWSoft has developed a data migration tool to achieve an automated migration, freeing up human resources from tedious tasks. 

To achieve an effective data migration process, it require users to extract data from their old system into iWoWHR System template format files. It is compulsory to migrate employee details & career progression before moving forward to migrate leave or payroll transaction data. Here are the guidelines to learn how to fill up the template files based on modules & how to verify migrated data:

  1. HRIS
  2. Leave
  3. Payroll
  4. Expense

 


Notes: 
All columns are necessary, do not remove/rename the columns from template files. Remove sheet from template files is not allow.


If you are unable to open the XML file using Microsoft Excel 2010, you can follow the steps below to change the Microsoft Excel setting:

  1. Open Excel 2010.
  2. Click on File > Options.
  3. Select Trust Center > Trust center settings.
  4. Select Protected view.
  5. Uncheck all the options under Protected View > OK.
  6. Restart Excel 2010 and try to open Excel documents.
