4. How to Update Employee Time Card No

Time card no is used to tie the time clock records to the employee, thus it is compulsory to be updated for the system to capture and reflect the details into the time entry in the system.
If the staff has an additional time card no. with different effective dates, both cards needs to entered into the system with an effective date in order for the system to capture in/out time from both card no.

Location: Attendance -> Employee List -> Edit -> Attendance -> Time Card Number




  1. Define the time card effective date. 
  2. Key in time card no.
  3. Time Card No 2 is optional unless the employee has 2 access card..
  4. Click on Save button.

You are able to use export/import features to batch update time card no for all employees. Below are the steps for batch update time card no:


How to export template file?


    1. Click on Export button.
    2. Click on Data Export button to download a template file in excel format for batch updates.
    3. Fill up for Employee No, Employee Name, Employee Time Card Date & Time Card No. Please take note the employee time card date has to input with the format as "01/Jun/2011" or "01-Jun-2011".

    How to import file?

      1. Click on Import button.
      2. Choose file.
      3. If you are overwrite the existing records, you need to choose "Overwrite Record" at Duplicate Key Alert Option.
      4. Click on Data Import button.

      How to bind the Time Card No. to the employee?
      1. Navigate to 'Attendance -> General -> Process Time Card'.
      2. Enter the date range where the effective time card no. date falls in.
      3. Tick on the option  'Process Blank employees identity only"
      4. Click on 'Run Process Now".
