To use the Exit Management Wizard for inactive career progression (resigned, cessation and etc), you will need to create the Career Progression Task.
1) Go to HRIS -> General Main -> Career Progression Task Management Wizard
2) You will need to create the Career Progression Task. Click on the 'Create' button.
3) Select 'Option 1: Exit Management Wizard'
4) You will need to select the information required for Step 1 of Exit Management Wizard.
- Step 1: Select the employee that is about to have inactive career progression record
- Step 2: Select the inactive career progression description
- Step 3: Select the actual Tendered Date
- Step 4: Select the actual Resigned Date
- Step 5: If you would like to custom the notice period, you will need to tick on the 'Custom Notice Period' checkbox to amend the information accordingly. (By default, system will look through the employee career progression record history to find out the notice period. If there are no notice period being inserted, it will show '0' days)
- Next, can configure to exclude any of days in a week for the Last Service Date Configuration. Click on the checkbox on the days which you would like to exclude. Once you have selected, you can click on the 'Next' button to proceed to next step. (Note: You may ignore this section if you do not want to exclude any of the days)
5) In Step 2 of Exit Management Wizard, you will need to set the employee annual leave balance will offset with the short of notice and the system will auto compute the last service date.
6) In Step 3 of Exit Management Wizard, the system will detect whether the employee selected is an approving officer and you would like to replace with another employee. Select the new replacement approving officer to replace from the drop-down list. Click 'Next' to go to the next step.
7) In Step 4 of Exit Management, it will list down the items of company assets that the employee is holding. You will also need to key in the reason of the employee leaving the company. Click 'Next' to go to the next step.
8) In step 5 of Exit Management, the system will show the summary of Exit Management Wizard for the particular employee. If the inactive/resigned career progression yet to confirm, you can configure the Reminder Date and reminder to be sent to whom followed by clicking on Save As Draft button. The system will send the reminder to notify the admin user to confirm on the inactive progression. If you are sure on the resignation, you can just click on 'Complete;
