Advance Claim Cancellation can only be done after it has been approved but before the claim is declared. This is due to the integration that is in place with the payroll and the amount have already been paid to the employee. After declare, the system will also have already calculated the variance (+/-) and have integrated to the employee's payroll either under deduction if overpaid or allowance if underpaid by the employer. Due to the complexity to undo any integration and also it may impact payroll reports, Advance Claim that is already declared cannot be submitted for cancellation.
