It is one thing to have a report, another to have a report in the format that you want! Sometimes, you spend more time to customize the report into the format you want than collecting the information itself.
This is why we have the Designed-It-Yourself (DIY) Report for you. You can customize the format of the report at ease. In this article, we will show you how to do just that.
To create a customized, DIY report, go to Payroll -> Standard Report -> Payroll DIY Report, you will land to the page below:
1. Report Name: Select report which was saved previously.
2. Generate Report:
(a) Preview: Generate to Preview the report in a pop-up window
(b) Export To: Select a list of file type from the "None" drop-down box to download the report
3. Report Setting:
(a) Share this setting: Select this to share this report layout with other admin users
(b) Create: Create the new report
(c) Update: Update existing report
1. Add more columns or delete columns
2. Column Setting:
(a) Title: Name of the column
(b) Width (Inch): Width of the column
(c) Exclude if 0: Exclude data which total is 0
3. Formula: Click on "..." to browse formula for the column (see below)
FORMULA:
1. Module: Select formula from which module
2. Formula: Select the formula from the list (select multiple to add the formula together)
GENERAL
1. Password: To enter the password for the downloaded (only PDF) report
2. Title: Title of the report
3. Remark: Key in remark
4. Date Range: Enter the date range to generate the report
Now you can hit the 'Generate' button and see how your version of Design-It-Yourself Report looks like!
