3. FAQ for e-Leave

1.     How to check the entitlement earn for each month?

Answer: Leave > General > Leave EntryClick on the Balance figure to generate the balance checking report. The report will show the entitlement earn for each month & accumulate on every month.



       

2.     I have work in the company for more than 1 year, why is my number of Earned Leave is shown as zero?

Answer: This is depends on your company's Leave Policy. Usually Employer will only allow Employee to start earning Leave after they receive confirmation. When this happen, the Admin User will need to update this in the Career Progression (under e-HRIS module), then only will the system start showing number of Earned Leave for you. 

 

3.     In December 2011, I have 10 days of Annual Leave balance, I applied 3 days Annual Leave for January 2012 (next                   calendar year), so when it comes to January 2012, my Carry Forward Leave should be 7 days (company only allow to             carry forward maximum of 7 days). But why is the system shows my Carry Forward Leave is only 4 days? 

Answer: System will reconcile your Carry Forward Leave balance on 1st January 2012 by taking into account the Cross Year Leave applied in December 2011. Your Carry Forward Leave balance is 7 days and the system will deduct 3 days of cross year leave applied in December 2011. The balance of your Carry Forward Leave is 4 days instead of 7 days. With such a feature, it able to prevent users to carry forward more than their carry forward limit. 

 

 4.     How to configure the email notification from iWoWHRMS not deliver in junk mail?

          Answer: Right click on the email from iWoWHRMS, select Junk -> Never Block Sender's Domain (@example.com). 

          

5.     Why can't Employees apply for Marriage Leave? 

Answer: Please check the marital status of the Employee under HRIS. Employee would NOT be able to apply for Marriage Leave if his or her marital status is not updated in HRIS. Follow the steps below to update Employee's marital status: 

  1. Go to HRIS-> Employee Detail 
  2. Click on Edit for the Employee 
  3. Click on Miscellaneous, then update the marital status to Single
  4. Go to the Career Progression screen, tick on Generate Leave Entitlement and click the Save button. 
  5. To check whether Employee entitle for Marriage Leave, go to Leave -> Leave Entry and check the Leave Summary. If he or she is entitled to it, you should be able to view the Marriage Leave.
