Auto Push Engine Installation

Pre-Installation
1. Make sure the Setup folder is copied to the C or D drive
Eg. D:\iWoW
2. The Windows login user must have administrative right to install the application and run window services.
3. Confirm that hardware spec fulfill minimum requirement 1.5 GB unused RAM.
4. Allow whitelist of https://iwowsoft.visualstudio.com/ for future auto deployment.

Auto Push Engine Requirement
OS - Windows 8/Windows Server 2012 and above
RAM - 2GB

Hard Disk - 20 GB

Installer Content
Please proceed to download the folder containing the following items with the link provided below:

Default Installer:
01. SQL Server Express 2012
02. DBF OLE
03. AMS Client Utility
04. AMS Client Service
06. Restore Database 
Updater 2.6.2
  1. iWoW Attendance Push Service - 1
  2. iWoW Attendance Sync - 2
  3. iwow autopush 2.6.2.7z (This is the zip version for both files (1, 2) above)

Regarding the other required software, kindly proceed to download the installers using the link provided below:
  1. SQL Server Express 2012 & SQL Server Management Studio

Installation Steps
01. SQL Server 2012 (or 2008 if needed)
  1. Double click Setup.bat, wait for the command windows to close.
  2. Select Mix Mode. Window Authentication. U: sa, PW: p@ssw0rd
02. DBF OLE
  1. Double click vfpoledb.exe, follow the steps.
03. AMS Client Utility
  1. Double click setup.exe, follow the steps.
04. AMS Client Service
  1. Double click setup.exe, follow the steps.
05. SQL Server Management Studio
  1. Connect to Database Engine.

06. iwow_client2005_2_46_0.bak
  1. Right click on (local)\SQLEXPRESS > Databases > Restore Files and File groups
  2. Type in
    1. To database : iwow_client 
    2. From device : choose iwow_client2005_2_46_0.bak > click OK

07. Copy and Replace the installed file with 
  1. Copy and replace the downloaded Updater 2.6.2 and replace on the existing file


08. Configure DBConfig.xml
  1. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\iWoWSoft\iWoW Attendance Sync\App_Config"
    1. set as: server=(local)\SQLEXPRESS;User ID=sa;Password=p@ssw0rd;database=iwow_client
  2. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\iWoWSoft\iWoW Attendance Push Service\App_Config
    1. set as : server=(local)\SQLEXPRESS;User ID=sa;Password=p@ssw0rd;database=iwow_client

09. Manually Create Event Log Folder

  1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iWoWSoft\iWoW Attendance Sync
    1. Create a new folder, named it EventLog
  2. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iWoWSoft\iWoW Attendance Push Service\
    1. Create a new folder, named it EventLog

10. Configure iWoW Attendance Sync

  1. Go to Windows menu, look for program iWoW Attendance Sync
  2. At the iWoW Attendance Sync program > click on Setup > set Terminal Number: for example PC01 > set Serial Number: for example PC-SN01
  3. Set Database Connection String: Server=myServerName\myInstanceName;Database=myDataBase;User Id=myUsername;Password=myPassword OR
    1. Note: Database Connection String is only required if clocking raw data is located in database (SQL, DBF and etc.)
  4. Set File Path: the location of the .mdb or .txt file
    1. Note: File Path is only required if clocking raw data has been extracted in .txt or .csv file
  5. Set Max. Records per Upload: 200 > set Data Upload Web Service URL: https://hrms.iwowsoft.com/
  6. For first usage, set Duplicate Record Checking Day Count Limit as far back as you’d like to the engine to push. For example, 15.
  7. Click on Save > then click on Process
  8. Ensure to stop service first if it is already running
  9. Then, click on Extract > then click on Push
  10. Go back to Setup > set Duplicate Record Checking Day Count Limit as 7 > Click on Save
  11. Go back to Process > click Start on Push Service Status > click Start on Push Restarter Status
11. Setup Attendance à Time Clock Terminal
  1. Setup the terminal and clocking table format
12. Install Auto Deployment Agent
  1. Refer to technical team for the said installation
