In the event that a user (employee or administrator) attempts to log into the system but fails to provide the correct login credentials, they will have up to 3 attempts before their account is locked down (A message will be prompt with each attempt).
Note: The login attempt counter will reset upon each successful login.
Upon the 3rd unsuccessful attempt, the account will be temporarily locked down.
Once this occurs, please refer to the steps provided below to unlock the respective types of accounts.
Steps to unlocking a locked account
For Employee/Manager Self-Service (ESS/MSS) account
- Login as an administrator.
- Navigate to System > Security > ESS Account.

- Beside the search button, select the dropdown listing and click on 'Locked'.
This will limit the listing to ESS/MSS accounts that are currently locked.
- Click on 'Edit' (Pencil icon) of the employee account you would like to unlock.
- Click on the 'Unlock' button.
You will be prompt with message to notify you that the account has been unlocked. With this, the employee may attempt to login once again.
For Administrator accountPlease note that the administrator performing the following steps will need to have permission to modify access of the affected administrator account. If not, kindly reach out to iWoWSoft's Support team (
support@iwowsoft.com.my) to assist in unlocking the locked account.
- Login as an administrator.
- Navigate to System > Security > User Account.

- Beside the search button, select the dropdown listing and click on 'Locked'.

- Click on 'Edit' (Pencil icon) of the employee account you would like to unlock.
- Click on the 'Unlock' button.

- A message will be prompt to notify you that the account has been unlocked. Please notify the administrator to attempt to login once again.
