8. Income Tax Setting

Creating Your Income Tax Setting

The Income Tax Setting will determine your tax calculation for the year. Hence, it is crucial to keep your information up to date.

Here are the steps to submit your latest information.


STEP 1 : Go to Employee tab → Personal  Income Tax Setting.
STEP 2 : At the Income Tax Setting screen, select Create New from the History panel.
STEP 3 : Choose Effective Month & Effective Year accordingly from the drop down list. In this example, November 2019.
STEP 4 : Choose your Resident status. For explanation on residential status, please refer to the LHDN website.
STEP 5 : Choose your Marital Status. For explanation on marital status, you may click HERE
STEP 6 : Tick if applicable for Disable Individual or Disable Spouse.
STEP 7 : Under the Children panel for each related category, key in the number of child under 100% tax relief, or 50% tax relief.
STEP 8 : Once confirm your information, click on Submit.
A pop-up message will appear to confirm that your changes have been submitted for approval. See below.
STEP 9 :  You can view the status of your submission by clicking on Show Changes and View Detail.
Refer to the Apporver Status box. In the example below, your submission is still pending for approval.
