6. Create Workflow

In simple words, Workflow means sequence of different steps being done in a process. It usually define an operation procedure in a Company, for example, the Workflow of Leave Application will define how Employee will apply for Leave, including who is the approver, time required to respond, et cetera. 

We will go through the steps of creating a Workflow. Creating the appropriate Workflow is the first step to automate operations and become more efficient. 

Step 1 ,2 & 3: Go to  Expense -> Setup -> General Setting ->Approving Workflow Setting,


 Step 4: then click 'Create'


 Step 5: Enter the Code and Description for your new Workflow. We will use the below as an Example

Choose the Approving Method, there are 3 different approving Methods available. All of the options are self explanatory. 

Enter the number of Time Interval for Next Approval Level in hours. Tick the box 'Keep Reminding Approvers Until Action Taken' to remind to employee if no action is taken within the time entered.

Choose Approver from the drop down list that employee wish to be approve by and the minimum number of employee that needed to approve this claim.

Click 'Save' and you have just finished creating a new Workflow.
