3.5. How to Generate a HRIS Report

To create and download a HRIS report, follow the simple steps as below:

This is an example when we need to download a report for Family Detail.

1. Go to Home -> HRIS -> Standard Report -> Family Detail




2. Firstly, you may decide if you want to  preview the report by clicking . Otherwise, you may download the report directly but clicking 'Export To'. 

3. Under the drop down list, choose the type of format that you want the report to be export to, such as pdf, word, excel, etc.

4. You can also set password to the report for security purpose. Go to Setting and key in the password in the 'Password' text box.


5. If you have created any Smart Filter List, you will be able to choose the profile here as an option. Besides, you can also use the Advanced Search feature to find what you want fast.

6. You can choose the report format here. Some of the Reports have multiple options for you to choose from. However, in our example here, there is only one type of format, ie 'Standard'. Hence we can only choose this format.



7. This 'Title' column field allows you to set the Title of the report. You can enter any name for the report that you want. 

8. If you want the report to be in color, just untick the 'Without Color' checkbox.

    By default, the setting for this box is ticked and the report will be in black and white only.

9. Tick the 'Show Company Name' checkbox if you want the report display the Company Name.

10. After you are done with the report setting above, click the Generate button to generate the report.

11. The system will pop up your report in a new screen tab. You may choose to print or save your report.
