2. Creating Overtime Policy Setting

After created Working Shift, you need to set up your Overtime Policy. 

Step 1 , 2 & 3: Firstly, go to Attendance -> General Setting -> Overtime Policy Setting





Step 4: Then click 'Create' at the right bottom of the screen.




Step 5: First, enter the Code and Description for the new Overtime Policy that you are creating here in the column. 

Step 6: This is the minimum time (in minutes) that needed in order to qualify as Overtime. Three type of Overtime here: 

'Early Overtime': if Employee clock in to office earlier that official work hour 

'Late Overtime': if Employee clock out after official work hour

The System will only calculate the Overtime if you tick any of the box here. Also, if the number of minute is 0, meaning system will consider any minute earlier than (and after) official work hour as Overtime. But if you enter 30, that means if Employee clock in 29 minutes BEFORE work hour, it will NOT be considered as Overtime. 

Define the Rounding System for each and every type of Overtime here. Choose your preferred Overtime Rounding from the drop down list. 


Step 7: This is to enable auto-deduction of Approved OT hours with lateness. This is only applicable when the employee has lateness and overtime within the same day

Step 8: Click 'Save' and you have complete
